Palazzo Vaj, Prato, Italy

This body of work explores the old architectural space of the Palazzo Vaj bike room, investigating the history of the bike room and then translating this research into artwork which re-activates the site. During research I discovered there are twelfth century city wall remains under the Palazzo Vaj bike room. This knowledge re-focussed my work on the clues in the space that suggest there is more to be found in relation to the site.
